Box ID Number
Each of TalkFree boxes has its own ID number. You can find it on the back of the box's tag as seen below.
Instant Dial
1. Calling between TalkFree Boxes: Simply dial the other Box's ID number
2. Calling Smartphones (Please install FreePP App on your smartphone first): Just dial 00 + call recipient's country code + smartphone number
TalkFree Box ID Number Change and Its Related Set Up
TalkFree Box also provides you with the option of assigning any phone number to the TalkFreeBox. This is done by changing your TalkFree Box's ID number to any company, mobile or other phone number. This saves the hassle of memorizing each TalkFree Box ID number when making calls. To know more about the related setup, please read through the instructions below.
Step 1: Set Up Your Country Code
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial #31*00+ your Country Code#. Hang up the phone after hearing the voice instructions saying "setting is completed, please hang up the phone."
Step 2: Set up Your Landline or Mobile Number
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial: #32* + area code + landline number + #. Fore example: If area code is 410 and landline number 3331234, please dial: #32*4103331234#
Step 3: Complete the Setup
After you receive our notification call, please dial 01 and hang up. Congratulations! You have successfully completed changing the TalkFree Box's ID number. Note: If you do not receive the notification call, it may be that you pressed the wrong number at Step 1 and/or Step 2. Please go through Step1 and Step 2 again. If you want to reset to a different country code/landline number/mobile number, please go through Step1, Step2 and Step3 again.
Step 4: How to Make Phone Calls
The FreePP free call service only applies to the FreePP products such as the TalkFree Box and FreePP App for smartphones. Both caller and the call recipient must complete Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 before starting to use the changed landline/mobile number to make phone calls.
Calling TalkFree Boxes or FreePP App on Smartphones
When callers and recipients use the same country code: Callers can directly dial the recipient's area code + Landline Number or the recipient's Mobile Number.
When callers and recipients use different country codes: Callers must dial 00 + recipient's country code + Area Code + Landline Number or 00 + recipient's country code + Mobile Number.
Check Numbers You Set up
To check numbers you set up on your TalkFree Box, please follow the instructions below.
1. Check the country code you set up
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial #*31#. The system will announce the country code number.
2. Check the landline or mobile number you set up
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial #*32#. The system will announce the landline or mobile number.
Cancelling the Setup
1. Cancel the country code you set up
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial ##31#. Please hang up the phone after hearing " the country code setting is cancelled".
Cancel the landline or mobile number you set up
Please pick up the TalkFree Box phone and dial ##32#. Please hang up the phone after hearing "bundling services have been cancelled."
Note: To retrieve Box ID number, please cancel both country code and phone number setup.
